About Waynflete Infants' School

About Us

Waynflete Infants’ School is the only Infant School in Brackley. The school was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in January 2011 and converted to Academy Status with effect from 1st April 2012. This enables the children to benefit from a bespoke broad and balanced curriculum which offers them the opportunity to learn in a stimulating and exciting environment.

The school was purpose built for young children and opened in 1960. We have seven classrooms, a large well equipped hall, ICT suite, library and a well maintained playground, with a variety of outside play equipment. In the September after their fourth birthday, we welcome up to 30 children to join each of our two Reception classes. They stay with us until they transfer, usually to Brackley CE Junior School, in the Autumn Term after they are seven.

Mrs Tina Lagdon (Headteacher), provides an inspirational lead to a dedicated, committed and enthusiastic staff who are all passionate about ensuring all children in school are treated equally and given every opportunity to reach their full potential.

The whole school team take a very responsible view towards all aspects of the well being of the children in our care. We strongly believe that children must feel safe and secure in their learning environment.
