Waynflete Infants’ School enjoys the benefit of a very active and enthusiastic PTFA.
The Annual General Meeting was held on 1st October 2020 and the following Committee was elected:

Next PTFA Meeting

The next PTFA meeting will be held on Thursday 25th February 2020 at 19:30 at Greyhound Pub.
Everybody welcome.

Regular Events run by the PTFA include:

Design a Christmas card – Children will create a Christmas card under the guidance of their teachers.

Christmas Week – Week commencing 7th December 2020.
Unfortunately due to Covid we cannot hold our major fundraiser, The Christmas Bazaar. Instead we are organising a Christmas Week for the children to still enjoy the festive fun and games. The Christmas Bazaar is a major fundraiser for the school and an event which all children, staff and PTFA members look forward to! The Bazaar is a success because of the amazing support from all parents and carers during the weeks following up to the event. in 2019 this event raised over £2000 for the school.

Christmas wreath making workshop for the adults – Friday 4th December 2020, Cancelled. This was a popular event in 2019.

Round Table Santa collection – TBC. Thank you to everybody who braved the very wet weather last year and helped us raise £718.31.

Christmas Productions – TBC. The PTFA sell raffle tickets to win a Christmas Hamper before the productions. Last year we raised £220.47, we donate half of this to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

DiscoTBC. Entertainment by Aaron Williams. £2.50 includes a drink and biscuit.

Bag2School – Friday 6th November 2020
The school participates annually in the Bag2School fundraising scheme, which raises money by recycling clothes and other textiles. More details on the scheme can be found at https://bag2school.com/
Bags for our next collection will be sent out soon. Our last collection we raised £48.

Mothers/ carers Day Tea – TBC 2021 in the afternoon. You are invited to come in for tea and cake whilst year 2 sing some songs. Any cake donations for this will be greatly appreciated. All money raised will be split between Marie Curie and the PTFA.

Book BingoTBC. This will be an after school event, more information will be sent out nearer the time.

Quiz NightTBC. This will be held at the Chequered flag pub. get your team together and help raise money for the school while having a fun night out.

Easter eventsTBC.

Change Challenge – This will be in the Spring term dates to be confirmed and run for 4 weeks. There will be a prize each week for the class who has collected the most change and an overall prize. Start saving your loose change now.

Fathers/ carers Day assemblyTBC.

Brackley Community CarnivalTBC.

PTFA AGM – 23rd September 2021, 7.30pm. Everybody welcome.

Second hand uniform sale – TBA

We understand that so many parents/carers have very busy lives, but if you can spare some time to support our school community we would very much appreciate it. Please come along to a PTFA meeting or speak to a member of the Committee.
