Waynflete Infants’ School enjoys the benefit of a very active and enthusiastic PTFA.
The Annual General Meeting was held on 19th September 2024 and the following Committee was elected:
Chair: Beth Evins-Hunt
Treasurer: Becky Rees
Secretary: Magdalena Hearn
Communications: Joelle Turner/Magdalena Hearn
School Representative: Lianne Tilbury
General Members: Emily Jones, Olivia Crawley, Tarnya Ambrose and Michelle Robinson
Regular Events run by the PTFA include:
Disco’s – Held in the Main School Hall
Design a Christmas card – Children will create a Christmas card under the guidance of their teachers.
Tea Towels – Every child will draw a portrait of themselves. These will be printed onto a tea towel and there will be an opportunity to purchase as a gift/keepsake.
Frozen Fridays – Children have the opportunity of wearing mufti and having an ice-lolly.
Waynflete Infants’ School Summer Festival – an enjoyable fun packed afternoon.
Bag2School –
The school participates annually in the Bag2School fundraising scheme, which raises money by recycling clothes and other textiles. More details on the scheme can be found at https://bag2school.com/
Bags for our next collection will be sent out soon.
The PTFA can only run these events with support from parents and teachers.
The next meeting is 30/09/24 7pm at the school to plan the winter Bazaar, everyone welcome.
