Snow procedures
Closure prior to school opening
In the event of significant overnight snowfall we may need to close the school for safety reasons. We will notify parents of a closure via School Comms email, Twitter and on the Home Page of the School website (please note that Northamptonshire County Council no longer report on school closures).
Closure during the school day
Should we need to close school during the school day, we will post a notification on Twitter, the website home page and send an email via School Comms. All children will be held in school until parents arrive and should be collected directly from their classrooms.
In the event of school remaining open
Children should come to school in suitable clothing (including hats, gloves, & wellies/snow boots). Children should enter via the main front entrance and go straight to classrooms and change into their school shoes etc.
